Designed especially for 2 - 5 year olds, bring the magic of Adelaide Zoo's animals to life in this engaging learning program. Each session runs for 45 minutes and focuses on a different animal every week.

Teacher Professional Development - Playful: Learning Through Games (Adelaide Zoo)
Join the History Trust of South Australia, Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium, and Zoos SA for a day of professional learning. 
Monday, July 13th, 8:45am-3:15pm

Playful: Learning through games will explore the benefits of using games and play in the classroom to encourage engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

In this hands-on workshop teachers will participate in education games created by the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium, and Zoos SA and hear about and practise the methods and tools that can be used to engage students in problem solving, creativity, communication and collaboration all while having fun. Teachers will also participate in a game-design workshop to create their own unique game for their classrooms.
