A Nature Walk Through the Park
A Nature Walk Through the Park

If you are a bird watcher, wild flower lover or just enjoy wandering through the bush, you will really enjoy this exclusive experience. Join our volunteer guides and walk through a variety of bush land habitats not normally visited by the public and identify as part of a project for Monarto Zoo what birds were sighted and where.

Or if you prefer, join another group of volunteer guides for a stroll through the scrub to witness the arrival of spring in the Mallee. At this time of the year, the birds are breeding, wildflowers are blooming and the weather is usually ideal for walking.

During your stroll through the park you will stop to share morning tea and lunch, during which you may be lucky enough to see a little creature or two.

Participants will need to wear sturdy walking shoes, bring camera, binoculars and wear appropriate clothing to suit the weather conditions.

Numbers will be strictly limited for each walking group, so get in early to avoid disappointment.

Please indicate plant or bird group as your preference when making this booking.

Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
